As long time listeners will know, TFSS fields a 7-a-side team every Wednesday at SCOR. Since we're currently bottom of our division, we decided to draft in some professional reinforcements. This week, the regular foursome (well, Taylor) are joined on the phone by ESPN's Jeff Carlisle to discuss the potential hosts/bidders for the 2018 and 2022 World Cup (the USA figures prominently). After that, the guys attempt to analyze the USA's four main rivals for the 2022 Cup (Australia, Korea, Japan, and Qatar). Albert gets philosophical/technical at the end... androids, holograms, and Korean unification also get mentions... So be sure to listen and be sure to compete in our "find a better USA bid slogan than the one they already have" contest!!! |
