We pick Christmas presents for certain soccer players and for American soccer fans, look back on a few favorite football moments from 2011 and make New Year's resolutions for 2012. We also play a Christmas themed round of the Wikipedia Game, with some tenuously-tinseled names.

We jump in the way back machine again to discuss and select the TSS Team of the '70s.  Big names, big personaliites, and big hair highlight the squad. Later we are joined by Taylor who gives us his selections for the team as well as his new Over/Under segment for the week.  Finally, we have some prizes that need giving away. 

We review the first El Clasico of the season. We talk tactics, Barcelona's fluidity, Ronaldo's insecurites and the joy that is listening to Ray Hudson commentate on a soccer match. Also: Peyton hosts an epic Wikipedia Game between Albert and Daryl that goes the full 7 rounds. Soccer-tastic.

With the first El Clasico of the La Liga season fast approaching Albert, Daryl, and Josh selected the TSS El Clasico XI.  Only former Barcelona and Real Madrid players made the cut, no room for Messi, Ronaldo, Xavi et al. in this team.  The end of the Champions League group stage and Taylor with a new "Over/Under" round out the show. 

We review the performances of Danny Williams and Fabian Johnson in Hoffenheim's game away to Bayer Leverkusen, we also give our reactions to the Euro 2012 draw, discuss American v European announcers, how Major League Soccer DPs count against salary caps, and play some Germans in England-themed Wikipedia Game. Albert, Daryl, and Josh profile the most recent inductee into the 3-6-1 Hall of Fame: American soccer pioneer Lamar Hunt. We also discuss the WPS situation, John Harkes and the new USMNT jerseys. After that Taylor helps us preview the weekend's action with completely made up prop bets, in a new segment called "Over/Under". 

We're in studio to watch and then discuss MLS Cup 2011 between the LA Galaxy and Houston Dynamo.

We discuss USA vs Slovenia and preview MLS Cup 2011 with former USMNT defender/ESPN analyst/Total Soccer Show listener Alexi Lalas. We also play a little bonus midweek Wikipedia Game.

Joined in studio by Peyton, Josh, Daryl, and Albert breakdown the most recent USMNT friendly away to France.  Then it's off to Turkey (via Skype) to catch up with Taylor and figure out the mood following Turkey's EURO 2012 first leg play-off agaisnt Croatia.  Peyton hosts the Wikipedia game but not before we reveal the TSS team's MVP for this week's CVSA game.   

Albert, Daryl, and Josh are joined in studio by Richard Hayes of the Richmond & Central Virginia Supporters of DC United (RVADCU) to discuss D.C. United's ongoing stadium saga.  We also preview the USMNT's upcoming friendly away to France and with a little help from Taylor in Turkey we talk Euro 2012 playoffs.
