In the final episode of 2010, Josh, Daryl, and Taylor (Albert continues his North Carolina tour) gathered in studio to finish up their year in review. Our game of the week was going to be Chelsea vs Manchester United. But then it snowed. So instead we watched Michael Bradley's Borussia Moenchengladbach lose 2-1 at home to Hamburg in the Bundesliga, paying particular attention to the US midfielder's performance. 

We take a look at how American players are faring in Europe so far this season. The four of us take a position each (keepers, defenders, midfielders, forwards) and give our Best American Abroad so far this season, Worst American Abroad so far this season and our best Best U-23 Abroad. And by "Abroad" we mean Europe.

The usual foursome gather in studio to preview/analyze the NCAA Division I Soccer Final Four (Michigan, Akron, Louisville, and UNC). However, since approximately 0% of the group has been following college soccer this season, they use the TFSS Patented Preview System to analyze the teams and determine who'll be lifting the trophy this Sunday, December 12 at 4PM EST.

Then, stealing an idea from "Name That Tune"/"Doug Loves Movies", the Total Football Soccer Show unveils its newest (and perhaps best) idea: The Wikipedia Game. The players attempt to guess footballers based on random trivia and the number of teams they've played for... It makes a whole lot of sense once the game is underway, so just have faith and give it a listen. Go on.... DO IT!

We make our first venture into the Bundesliga for our game of the week, to discuss Schalke's 2-0 win over Bayern. Then we reflect on the recent announcement of the World Cup 2018 and 2022 hosts.

The World Cup hosts for 2018 and 2022 were announced Thrusday morning. But we recorded this show Wednesday. So... yeah. Good news is that the 2011 Women's World Cup groups were drawn on Monday, November 29th, so we go through all four groups and play our patented TFSS trivia game.

After the Thanksgiving hiatus, we're back with an Extra Time review of the incredible El Clasico game, in which Barcelona embarrassed Real Madrid 5-0, and shocked those of us (Albert) who expected more from Madrid. The podcast was recorded immediately after watching the game. At time of posting, Albert is yet to satisfy the terms of his bet with Taylor.

Hot on the heels of the Colorado Rapids' 2-1 overtime victory over FC Dallas in MLS Cup XV, Taylor called up Jeff Carlisle to get his take on the game, the goals, and Alexi Lalas' choice of hat. Mr. Carlisle (we're all about titles here on the podcast) also helped break down the rule changes for the coming season, the potential shift to the international calendar, and the USA's odds at landing the 2012 World Cup.
