We review the Champions League Final, in which Barcelona beat Manchester United 3-1. We get specific about tactics and ask what it takes to beat Barcelona, whether such a thing is actually possible, and if not then how long will the rest of the world have to wait before there's a new best team in the world. We move on to discuss the recent FIFA corruption allegations, which have resulted in Mohammed Bin Hammam and Jack Warner being suspended, and close with the Wikipedia Game. |

The usual foursome assemble ins studio to break down the USA's Gold Cup roster (with some nice audio from the Bob Bradley announcement press conference) and preview this weekend's Champions League Final: Barcelona v Manchester United. That noise in the background is Taylor's knees knocking... |

We review a dramatic final day in the Premier League, where five teams battled to avoid relegation and we swiveled our heads to watch as many TVs as possible. We also review Chivas USA's 1-0 defeat at home to LA Galaxy and put our four heads together to pick our very own Gold Cup roster. We close, of course, with the Wikipedia Game.

After we took a pop at Alexi Lalas' improv skills last weekend, the former USA defender and current ESPN studio analyst responded by getting in touch and very kindly agreeing to come on the show. So we open by interviewing Lalas about life at ESPN and his thoughts on MLS 2011 so far. We also ask Lalas to weigh up our futuristic MLS promotion/relegation proposal and ask about his time battling relegation in Italy with Padova. Later in the show we do a quick preview of this Sunday's Premier League relegation battle, with Daryl's beloved Wolves one of the 5 teams in danger of the drop.

Game of the Week was Manchester United's 2-1 win over Chelsea, a game that all but handed Manchester United their 19th Premier League title. A Utd fan, and Liverpool fan and a neutral discuss. We also wax lyrical about LA Galaxy vs New York--a clash of the Designated Players that was worth the hype. |
