Our game of the week was the Asian Cup Final between Australia and Japan. We discuss Japan's win, then try and use the game as a yardstick for the USA's progress. We also talk Michael Bradley and his proposed loan move to Aston Villa (thumbs up all round) and Fernando Torres' impending Anfield departure. |

To mark the end of the January transfer window we nominate our best, worst and weirdest transfers of all time. Then, for podcast ears only, we join the rest of the world in giving misogynistic duo Andy Gray and Richard Keys a verbal beat down, before closing with a paper-shuffling-tastic edition of the Wikipedia Game. |

Well, that's a three-quarters of a century of shows in the book, and what better way to mark the occasion than by discussing the USMNT's impending friendly with Chile. Daryl, Josh, and Taylor break down the USA roster and discuss their ideal eleven for Saturday evening's encounter at the Home Depot Center. There's also some praise for Bob Bradley's willingness to experiment with his roster and a brief discussion on the game's broadcast situation (hint: FSC should pay their bills). And then... the big news... King Eric returns... to the New York Cosmos... a team he never played for... or worked with in any way... BUT IT'S A RETURN NONETHELESS! The trio discuss the franchise as a whole, their plans for the future, and why (probably) David Beckham won't be involved. Finally, as always, some Wikipedia Game to close it out (categories: players that played for the USA in 2010 and players that played for England in 2010). Download and enjoy! |

The January transfer window is open. Brrr. Feel that breeze. We discuss US players on the move, including Oguchi Onyewu's reunion with Michel Preud'homee and Edson Buddle's surprise move to Ingolwhatsit in Germany. |

Our Game of the Week was Manchester United vs Liverpool in the FA Cup 3rd Round. TSS co-host demographics are as follows: 50% Liverpool fans, 25% Manchester United fan, 25% innocent bystander. So we discuss the game from the perspective of both fans and neutrals. Either way, it wasn't pretty. That's your main course, and for dessert it's a Manchester United and Liverpool player version of The Wikipedia Game. |

In episode 73 we do a quick preview of Asian Cup 2011 (starts on Friday people) before discussing the USA training camp happening in California right now. Then, for podcast listeners only, we talk David Beckham's proposed loan move to Spurs and close - as usual - with the Wikipedia Game. |
